The Community

New Water Farms utilizes volunteers in all phases of activity. From events to farm maintenance, volunteers have the opportunity to labor and provide support as New Water fulfills its mission.

On the farm, there are organized group tasks (volunteer days) throughout the year that help with harvesting, crop maintenance (mulching and weeding), repair of plant support systems, jam making, and inventory. During the year, there are needs for light construction and structure maintenance/renovation that allow those with carpentry and construction skills to lend a hand. Facility and overall property upkeep allow those with landscaping skills to help maintain the aesthetics and beauty of the property.

Some of our current partners include The Alabama Girls Ranch, Surgical Dermatology Group, Point University, Red Hill United Methodist Church, Pearce Bevill Leesburg Moore Accounting Firm and the Lake Martin Resource Association.

We have hosted individuals as well as corporate teams for volunteer opportunities and are always appreciative of folks joining us to help further the mission and work at New Water.
